I never thought I’d be linking to an article from Salon, but this one has a couple of things going for it. It’s not about politics, and it’s from a weekly column called Ask The Pilot. This particular episode looks at the recent trend of dumbing down airline logos. It ends up being a pretty good commentary on generic corporate culture (CorpCulture? CultureCo?). It’s worth viewing the annoying flash ad to get to the content.
Sadly, my current employer’s logo also features a Generic Meaningless Swoosh Thing.
