			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So about that mystery assignment I spoke of last time: I&#8217;m auditioning for a writer&#8217;s slot at <a href="http://tvgasm.com">TVgasm</a>.  (The name is silly, but the recaps are hilarious.)</p>

<p>The audition process is basically a head-to-head competition against the other submitters.  The powers that be must have liked me, because I got a first-round bye.  Now, I&#8217;m counting on your help to get past Round 2.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t want to turn this into a discussion board (there are <a href="http://www.thefuselage.com/">plenty</a> of <a href="http://p073.ezboard.com/blosttheunofficalforumfortheabcseries">those</a> out there already), but last night&#8217;s episode was some of the best TV writing I&#8217;ve seen in ages&#8230; or since <a href="http://stuckeyville.com">Ed</a> went off the air, anyway.  The character interaction was particularly amazing.</p>

<p>The season finale is three hours long.  Last night&#8217;s episode was hour number one.  I think my head will explode next Wednesday if I have to process two consecutive hours of Lost.</p>
